1. Choose high quality antifreeze
There are two main indicators for measuring antifreeze: one is freezing point, the common type antifreeze can reach -40 °C, and the high quality antifreeze can reach -60 °C; the second is the boiling point, and the antifreeze should be at least 108 °C. Anti-corrosion and anti-rust properties are also important, which is directly related to the service life of Forklift accessories and attachments. Also consider anti-fouling. More than 65% of Forklift accessories and attachments equipment cooling systems have scale and rust, which seriously affects the cooling function of the cooling system. Therefore, it is best to clean the scale and rust spots in the radiator before replacing the antifreeze before adding the antifreeze. Under normal circumstances, antifreeze should be changed once a year. After one year, the batches of antifreeze have not reached the original nursing requirements. Different types of antifreeze must not be mixed to avoid chemical reactions, precipitation or bubbles.
2. Pump inspection
Some Forklift accessories and attachments have antifreeze in the oil after replacing the antifreeze. This is due to the aging failure of the water seal of the pump, which causes the antifreeze to enter the lubrication chamber through the water seal and finally reach the oil sump. Therefore, the oil level should be closely observed after replacing the antifreeze. If the oil level is found to rise, it should be stopped for inspection. Generally, the water pump water seal or water pump assembly method is used. After the repair, the engine must be taken away from the antifreeze remaining in the engine lubrication system with the new engine oil idle. Note: shorten the gap time of the next oil change to ensure the engine lubrication system works properly.
3. Cooling system anti-corrosion filter
The cooling system anti-corrosion filter contains additives such as ion exchange resin, corrosion inhibitor and magnesium plate, which can effectively protect related parts. The ion exchange resin prevents the formation of scale. The corrosion inhibitor can form an anti-corrosion film in the coolant jacket to prevent oxidation. Since the metal activity of magnesium is stronger than that of iron, the corrosive ions in the coolant first react with the magnesium plate to effectively prevent the iron from being corroded. In addition, the anti-corrosion filter can also filter rust, scale and sediment. The anti-corrosion filter should be replaced with the antifreeze at the same time, and the anti-corrosion filter should be replaced in the 1000th hour (engine working time) to ensure effective protection of the anti-corrosion filter.
4. Fuel oil line maintenance
(1) Normal selection of fuel: Diesel should be selected according to the local temperature and the cold filter point and freezing point of diesel.
(2) Maintain the fuel oil circuit: thoroughly clean the oil water separator: clean the surface, check the sewage mark, discharge the impurities in time, replace it if it cannot be cleaned; clean the diesel tank: remove the sediment at the bottom; replace the atomization Poor fuel injection nozzle; check the fuel injection pump with poor working condition to ensure normal operation.
5. The choice of lubricants
The appropriate lubricant should be selected according to the local temperature, combined with the freezing point, pour point and viscosity of the lubricating oil. Lubricating oils with high freezing points cannot be used at low temperatures. Conversely, in areas with high temperatures, it is not necessary to use lubricants with low freezing points. Both the freezing point and the pour point are indicators of the low temperature fluidity of the lubricating oil. There is no principle gender in the two, but the measurement method is slightly different. The freezing point and pour point of the same lubricating oil are not exactly the same. Generally, the pour point is higher than the freezing point of 2--3 °C.
6. Forklift accessories and attachments equipment three leaks overhaul
The phenomenon of thermal expansion and contraction is more obvious in the seals of hydraulic systems, gas lines and waterways, especially rubber O-rings, rectangular rings and other seals. When the temperature is continuously below 0 °C, the machine will leak oil. , air leakage, water leakage, especially when the temperature continues to approach -10 ° C.
