1. Warehouse Forklift
A warehouse forklift is one of the famous "lifts". It is similar in size and appearance to a golf cart, except that it has dual forks protruding from the front end. Typically, this forklift can be seen in warehouses with dense inventory and bustling construction sites.

2. Side loader
Side loaders are often used for large and bulky objects and projects in production facilities and steel service centers. The driver is placed in a container on the side while the side loader is unloading and loading materials. 3. Counterbalanced forklifts
The design of a counterbalanced forklift explains its name. Designed to balance heavy loads, it features forks in the front and weights in the back. Additionally, these forklifts do not have extension arms, which allows them to proceed with loading straight ahead.

4. Rough Terrain Forklifts
Rough Terrain Forklifts are designed for outdoor use on uneven surfaces. It provides stability on uneven terrain. These lifts boast rugged pneumatic tires that are threaded and oversized, which gives them the balance needed to safely transport items and objects over rough ground. If your job is indoors, you don't need a rough terrain forklift. But these lifts are necessary for outdoor applications where rough terrain exists. Construction sites usually fall into this category.
5. Hydraulic Trucks
Pallet jacks are also known as pump trucks. Due to their small-scale design, pallet jacks cannot lift heavy objects. The composition of a pallet jack sacrifices power for versatility. It features a small footprint, which allows it to fit in tight areas and lift small loads in dense areas. As a result, the price of obtaining and renting a pallet jack is significantly reduced.
6. Telehandlers combine forklift
Telehandlers combine a forklift with a crane, a boom, and an extendable arm-double forks are attached to the arm to transfer pallets from the ground. Traditional telehandlers can lift loads weighing up to 5,500 pounds up to 19 feet in the air and can reach tight areas and odd angles.
Telehandlers handle heavy objects that need to be lifted to greater heights. This process is accomplished through its extendable attached arm and articulated arm.
7. Heavy-Duty Forklifts
Heavy-duty forklifts blend the performance of telehandling forklifts and warehouse forklifts. Additionally, they can lift heavier loads than warehouse forklifts. This capability is only needed in specialized jobs.
An important feature of heavy-duty forklifts is the hydraulic levers. These mechanisms combine the power and reach of heavy-duty forklifts, making them ideal for moving heavy loads in industrial facilities.
8. Walk-behind stackers
Unique in both appearance and application, walk-behind stackers lack the cab receptacle that other forklifts have. Instead, the driver follows the stacker from behind while maneuvering it via an attached handle. These lifts are perfect for high pallet jack applications. What they lack in power and maneuverability, they more than make up for in elevation capabilities.
9. Telescopic Forklifts
Used primarily for indoor applications, a telescopic forklift is a type of warehouse lift. It has a key attribute that allows it to extend its forks to reach the rack in a way that a traditional forklift cannot. Additionally, it has an open cab that improves operator visibility.
Telescopic forklifts are designed for indoor use. Outdoor applications will require a different forklift, as this machine is not suited for this environment due to its lack of undercarriage clearance.
10. Order Picker
Order Picker Lifts are used to pick up and transfer items from storage spaces. Capable of reaching heights of up to 32 feet, order pickers are designed to lift operators onto higher racks and shelves. These machines are ideal for storage facilities and warehouse inventory applications, as they can pick up single units without bringing in entire pallets.
