Forklifts are special equipment vehicles in factories and are common handling tools. In factories, using forklifts to carry and stack goods greatly improves work efficiency. Common stacking methods include: seam pressing, pagoda, overlapping, criss-cross, and supine alternating.
1. Seam pressing: refers to the stacking method in which the bottom items are placed side by side and the upper items are placed between the two items on the lower layer.
2. Pagoda: refers to the stacking method in which the goods are reduced accordingly for each layer until they can no longer be stacked. The stacking method is relatively firm and has high stability.
3. Overlapping: also known as the straight stacking method, it is a stacking method in which items are stacked one by one and layer by layer, one on top of another. This method is convenient for operation and counting, but has poor stability. It is suitable for bagged, boxed, basketed items, as well as flat and sheet items.
4. Criss-cross type: refers to the stacking method in which the arrangement direction of each layer of items is perpendicular to the previous layer and gradually stacked upward. This method is mainly suitable for the stacking of pipes, bundles, long boxes and other items.
5. Alternating type: For items with different sizes or concave and convex on the upper and lower sides, such as channel steel, rails, etc., the items can be stacked in a supine and interlocking manner. This stacking shape is extremely stable, but inconvenient to operate.
So how should the forklift stack correctly?
1. According to the volume and shape of the goods, adjust the fork distance to make the left and right forces uniform.
2. Before starting the operation, please pay attention to the surroundings of the forklift and the stacking of the goods, and keep the forklift 20-30 cm above the ground to prevent the goods from being knocked down; when entering and exiting the warehouse door or turning, the whistle should be sounded.
3. When picking goods or pallets with a fork, the knife and fork should be inserted horizontally with the insertion hole of the pallet to avoid collision. Try to lift the fork slightly after the fork, and then tilt the door frame backward.
4. When unloading a pallet or cargo, first lower the fork to about 10 cm from the top of the ground or the top of the cargo, and then tilt the mast forward to a vertical state. After putting down the pallet or cargo, pull out the fork.
