When the forklift is picking up the pallet, aligning the pallet position is the key to ensure smooth and safe operation.

1. Approaching the cargo stack: After starting the forklift, drive the forklift slowly to the front of the cargo stack according to the position of the cargo stack, and ensure that the vehicle stops steadily.
2. Vertical mast: After the vehicle stops steadily, put the gear lever into neutral, and then push the tilt lever forward to restore the mast to a vertical position.
3. Adjust the fork height: Pull the lifting lever back to raise the fork, and ensure that the fork tip of the fork is aligned with the gap under the cargo or the fork hole of the pallet.
4. Enter the fork to pick up the cargo: Put the gear lever into the forward first gear, and the forklift slowly drives forward to smoothly fork the fork into the gap under the cargo or the fork hole of the pallet.

Precautions
In actual operation, it is key to ensure that the vehicle is perpendicular to the pallet. If the angle between the vehicle and the pallet is inconsistent, the fork may not be accurately aligned with the pallet, resulting in difficulty in operation.
The position of the mast is also very important. The mast can be tilted forward and backward, but when picking up goods, the mast needs to maintain a certain backward tilt angle to prevent the pallet from sliding onto the fork teeth.

New operators need to be careful not to rush to tilt the mast forward to avoid unnecessary pressure and scratches on the pallet when entering the fork.
By following the above steps and constantly practicing and improving in practice, the accuracy of forklift operation can be effectively improved to ensure that the pallet alignment problem is solved.
