Classification and characteristics of batteries

Ordinary batteries

Ordinary batteries
The plates of ordinary batteries are composed of lead and lead oxides, and the electrolyte is an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid. Its main advantages are stable voltage and low price; its disadvantages are low specific energy (i.e., the amount of electrical energy stored per kilogram of battery), short service life and frequent daily maintenance.

Dry-charged batteries

Dry-charged batteries

Its full name is dry-charged lead-acid batteries. Its main feature is that the negative plates have a high storage capacity. In a completely dry state, the amount of electricity obtained can be stored within two years. When used, just add electrolyte and wait for 20-30 minutes before use.

Maintenance-free batteries

Maintenance-free batteries

Due to their structural advantages, maintenance-free batteries consume very little electrolyte and basically do not need to add distilled water during their service life. It is also shock-resistant, high-temperature-resistant, small in size and low in self-discharge. Hengtong Forklift Parts Wholesale indicates that the service life is generally twice that of ordinary batteries. There are also two types of maintenance-free batteries on the market: one type is filled with electrolyte once when purchased and does not require maintenance (adding supplementary fluid) during use; the other type is that the battery itself has been filled with electrolyte and sealed when it leaves the factory, and the user cannot add supplementary fluid at all.
