A 2.5-ton forklift can lift 3 tons of cargo, but the rated lifting capacity is designed to be 2.5 tons, and it is generally not recommended to lift 3 tons of cargo. Forcibly lifting cargo exceeding the rated lifting capacity may lead to the following risks:

1. Damage to the structure and components of the forklift, such as the frame, mast, cylinder, chain, etc., shortening the service life of the forklift.
2. Affect the control performance and stability of the forklift, and increase the risk of rollover.

3. It may cause cargo to fall, causing casualties and property losses.
In order to ensure operational safety and the normal use of the forklift, the forklift should be operated strictly in accordance with the rated lifting capacity.
